Redwall: Martin the Warrior

Martin the Warrior is a character from the Redwall book series. This take on the Warrior mouse is of Martin after he helps to establish the Redwall Abbey. He isn't a young mouse, eager and ready to fight. Instead he will take up the sword to defend but prefers the peace of the Redwall Order.

Designed to feel different than the in-game models, much like paintings of Saints in churches don't look like photos, this is what a painter of the Redwall Abbey might have painted an idealized Martin as.

I had the pleasure to work on this for Soma Games, developers of the first official Redwall videogame, "The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout". The set pictured at the end is for their recorded announcements, and was created by Elizabeth Hudec.
